A SHORT STROLL FROM THE OLD PORT
By car
From the A10: Take exit 33 « La Rochelle, Rochefort, Surgères, Niort Sud », then the E601 to Boulevard Sautel. Then, Maison Caju is located at 18 Rue Léonce Vieljeux, right next to the Old Port.
By train
The train station is a 15-minute walk away. Follow the Ferris wheel. Walk along the Old Port. Walk past the Grosse Horloge. After that, you are on rue Léonce Vieljeux. A few more steps and you’re there!
By plane
From the airport, take bus line 1 to the Place de Verdun terminal. Walk down rue du Palais. At the end, go under the Grosse Horloge. Turn right into rue Léonce Vieljeux. You are almost there!

Parking de la Préfecture, place du Maréchal Foch: open car park 3 minutes walk from the house (free on Saturday evenings from 6.30pm and on Sundays).
The Vieux-Port Ouest (or Saint-Jean d’Acre) car park: open enclosed car park at the foot of the Tour de La Lanterne, 5 minutes walk from the house.
The Place de Verdun car park: covered and secure car park, 10 minutes walk from the house.
Free parking
Parking des Éléphants: outdoor parking, 5 minutes from the house.
Parking de l’Esplanade des Parcs: outdoor parking, 15 minutes walk from the house.
